Truman show

Synopsis of film.

He's the star of the show but he doesn't know, He is a successful business man, living an ordinary life, having an ordinary wife and an ordinary pal who pops in from time to time with a 4 pack. But truman is unhappy with hi life not to menion he' living the perfcet life although truman wants to travel and explore the world. He wants to get away from his happy place, Seahaven and to find his high school sweetheart. In reality, Christof a reckless TV-producer whom he never met, made up the Truman Show, Truman finds his life is getting very repetitive. Actually every moment of his life is being filmed, being watched by millions and that his world limited in a huge Hollywood film set. Truman decides to follow his discovery no matter how hard and how much it pains him. 

Key Scene:

In this scene, Truman is sits alone on the beach looking out towards the water.Christof has created the fear of water, and therefore, Truman has been unable to travel, he remembers a boating trip he took with his father, as a child and requesting that they stay out at sea for just a bit longer. Though his father wanted to go back to shore, he complied. Shortly after, a strong storm hit and Truman's father was swept overboard and drowned. As he comes out of the memory it begins to rain on Truman...and just on Truman. When he realizes this, he stands up in shock as the rest of the sky finally opens up in a downpour, prompting him to rush home.

 

Docnstruction:

In both his inner and physical journey Truman becomes aware of the clues that are happening around him.

Despite facing many obstacles, Truman preserves in his need to leave seahaven. The more clues on setting him off puts him in confusion, as he comes out of the memory it begins to rain on Truman...and just on Truman thus this makes him more curious has an urge to go out and seek. As Christoff finds Truman gazing towards to the ocean, Rain start pouring and only on Truman that ticks off Truman and becomes curious. As Truman has a flashback of the tragic night of him and his father sailing, he stares longly into the distance. Close up shot of his face shows he is afraid and terrified of the tragic accident which makes him not want to sail ever again. This is contrasted later in the film where a high angle shot is taken of him Crying towards the sky. In each his inner and physical journey Truman becomes responsive to the clues that occur to be happening around him.
